Universal, a Valencian company specialized in structural solutions for industrial photovoltaic projects, has taken a key strategic step: Universal transfers its polymer division to the Swiss industrial group Medmix. This operation marks a milestone in the company’s evolution and consolidates its commitment to growth in the renewable energy sector.

With this decision, Universal focuses all its resources on the photovoltaic sector, reaffirming its position as a pioneering company in solar structures within the Valencian Community. The transferred division included the manufacture of polymer components for sectors such as industry, construction, and industrial adhesives.
"This is a key transaction to strengthen Universal’s role in the photovoltaic sector. This restructuring allows us to expand our production capacity for future projects and those already under construction"— said Salvador Cabeza, CEO of Universal
The agreement with Medmix reinforces Universal’s strategy to focus exclusively on the design and manufacture of customized photovoltaic structures, an area where the company has demonstrated sustained growth and a high level of technical specialization.
This operation also allows Universal to optimize its production capabilities and reduce costs, essential aspects to efficiently meet the growing demand for large-scale solar projects, both nationally and internationally.
From its headquarters in Albal (Valencia), Universal will continue developing solutions adapted to the most demanding conditions of the energy sector, consolidating its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and industrial excellence.
